For now at least there isn't a formal bug database for OS/161. The bug count isn't too large.

As of OS/161 2.0.3 there are the following known issues:

• There is an increasing amount of evidence that the current CPU migration code is not good enough.
• The user-level malloc is horribly stupid and slow. It was originally meant to be an example of how a simple malloc might work, not one anyone would actually want to use.
• The shell is also limited, because it was originally solution code and therefore supposed to be comparable to what students might be expected to write.
• emufs does not support some operations, like remove or rmdir. This was a long-ago decision to help prevent destructive accidents.

As of System/161 2.0.8 there are no significant known bugs.

Bug reports should be sent to the author or via this silly web form. Please be sure that what you're reporting is a bug and not something you're supposed to be implementing, or something deliberately left out to make the students' lives easier.
